I was born and raised in Ft. Worth, TX. I come from a very large Catholic family of nine children. All of my siblings and my mother still live in Texas. I attended Catholic school through high school and received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at UT Arlington. In 2004 I married my best friend, Will. We have 4 cats and live in Grand Prairie, TX.
I worked for several years at a University in fund raising. Feeling that this was not the direction the Lord had in mind for me I left the University to work at a Catholic Parish in Carrollton as the Parish Secretary. While working there I happened to meet Fr. Stephen Sanchez and began coming to the many wonderful programs at the Center. I also starting discerning a vocation to the Carmelite Secular Order. Several years later I became the Administrative Assistant at the Center and know without a doubt Carmel is what the Lord had in mind for me all along. I also made my final promise in the Secular Order in July of 2012.
