Retreats and Facilities
Mount Carmel Center is both a Monastery and retreat house. It’s open to anyone with a desire to grow and learn from the rich Carmelite tradition of prayer and contemplation. Come experience the Center through a private retreat or with your own small group.
The Center is available for retreats Monday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and holidays. We do not offer social services such as temporary housing, financial assistance or accommodations for sabbaticals.
FYI for those who have trouble with stairs: Unfortunately we don’t have any rooms downstairs and we do not have an elevator. All our accommodations are upstairs.
We have both a small and large chapel for group and individual use, and the wooded grounds are spacious. Meal service for groups is available upon request.
A small library, pool, dining hall and 2 meeting rooms (for up to 40 people) are available. Our prayer chapel is an inviting, intimate space.
